Danzig

A couple of my boys and I caught DANZIG at the Norva last night. The dude is losing his hair but still KILLS it. I was blown away by his show. Huge stage presence and tons of energy. Not to mention he still sounds as good as he did 30 years ago. The opening band Gorgeous Frankenstein was an awesome surprise as well. Gorgeous Frankenstein is a project put together by Doyle Wolfgang Von Frankenstein (the original Guitarist for The Misfits) and Dr. Chud (the original drummer for The Misfits). They kicked ass! Definitely had a Misfits kinda sound with some hardcore and metal influence for sure. If Danzig comes around your town I recomend you drop what you are doing, go see him and crack some skulls. Who knows how much longer this legend will be doing live shows. Hopefully for 30 more years.
